Kingswood Group are pleased to be supporting a growing business with the recruitment of a Bid Manager.
Working for a supportive company with a healthy team culture, this new position is to work alongside the client consultant team, reporting to the Head of Department.
The position:
To manage and lead the process of producing professional and well written tender submissions, and to provide a key point of contact to the team for post tender queries/negotiations to secure project award
Duties will include;
- Managing small Bids Team
- Ensure that the Health and Safety policy and System is complied with at all times
- Assess new opportunities in conjunction with the Team in line with the Bid Decision Process to decide whether or not to pursue the opportunity
- Lead the process of developing and agreeing a winning strategy with input from other work winning team members
- Coordinate input from internal and external team members contributing to the overall tender submission
- Design, collation, production and review of the final submission documents
- Critically proof-read final submission documents to identify any areas of potential weakness and opportunities for improvement
- Present tender proposals at tender settlement meetings
- Represent the Company at pre, mid and post tender interviews as required
- Work with relevant team members to obtain knowledge and information required in order to respond to qualitative requirements, including ensuring team members produce information within the required timescales.
Ideal experience:
- Previous Bid Manager or Writer experience essential
