Bid Writer

Kingswood Group are pleased to be assisting a successful and supportive business based in the Romford area with the recruitment of a Bid Writer.

Reporting to senior Managers across the business, this role will be a key one within the team so experience is essential to be successful. You will have previous Bid Writer experience writing for a main contractor on Selection Questionnaires/Primary Quality Questionnaires and Invitation to Tender submissions. 

Duties will include; 

  • Assessing new opportunities with the Pre-construction Team in line with internal processes to decide whether or not to pursue the opportunity
  • Research the customer to identify their key drivers and requirements 
  • Liaise with the Bid Manager to make sure that documents are coordinated with the input from other members of the bid team 
  • Write sections of submission documents drawing, taking care to ensure that every answer is tailored to meet the specific requirements of the particular project brief
  • Obtain technical input from operational staff and external consultants where appropriate and write up into the final submission document

You will be perceptive and analytical in understanding customer requirements and capable of working under time pressure to strict deadlines.
