Kingswood Group are pleased to be supporting a growing Romford based construction company with the recruitment of an Estimating Assistant.
Working within the pre-construction team, this role is key in providing administration to the team and ensuring information is shared within allocated timeframes.
Duties will include;
- Reviewing tender documentation and distribute to relevant team members
- Checking tender documents to ensure that received documents match to issue sheets
- Liaise with the Estimator to resolve queries
- Collate enquiry packs
- Liaise with sub-contractors, consultants and customer teams via email and telephone
- Print, distribute and file quotations received
- Chase quotations from sub-contractors and maintain an up to date register of enquiries issued/responses received
- Ensure system reflects status of tenders received/won/lost
- Print, distribute and file all correspondence as soon as received in relation to tenders
- Assist the office administration team in answering telephone calls
Skills required:
- Attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Administration experience desired
- Organised and methodical approach
- Confident on Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
