Finance Manager

Kingswood Group are excited to be supporting a large organisation with the recruitment of a highly skilled Finance Manager. Working in the Chelmsford office, this position would suit a ‘hands-on Manager’ 

The position: 

• Statutory account preparation, month end and year end duties 

• Budgeting and forecasting reporting 

• Costing analysis

• Reviewing accounts to ensure targets are being met and cash flow is maximised

• Support the external management teams, attending quarterly review meetings and participating in contract negotiation

• Completing, reviewing and monitoring all post investment reviews to assess performance

• Providing commercial appraisals and support to the Senior Leadership Team

• Partnering with business leaders to assess the effectiveness of processes

• Preparation of budget and financial cases for capital expenditure requests

• Reviewing profitability

• Preparing and reviewing the monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all reconciling items are investigated and corrected / adjusted as appropriate

•    Participate in regional projects to drive efficiency across the organisation

Ideal requirements: 

  • Accounting qualification, ACE, ACCA, CIMA
  • Strong IT skills
  • Strong leadership skills
