Financial Controller / Finance Manager

Kingswood Group are working with a manufacturing business close to Chelmsford to recruit an experienced Financial Controller / Finance Manager to support the management team with all aspects of Accountancy and Financial business decisions.

The role will include 

  • All aspects of Management Accounts 
  • Cost Analysis and Variances 
  • Setting budgets for the company and commentary relating to this 
  • Cash Flow forecasts and reporting 
  • Assisting the management team with business decisions based on financial results and working to make continuous improvement in the department, increasing efficiencies of existing processes 
  • Team management and training of one direct report 
  • Working with external accountant regarding payroll and statutory responsibilities. 
  • Conducting business meetings on behalf of the management. 

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong decision-making mantra and be a team player. Can have a professional accountancy qualification, be working towards one or be qualified by experience.
