Garden Operative

KG Direct Hire are assisting a Chelmsford based company with the recruitment of a Garden Operative for their busy team. 

Working on various large housing developers show home external areas, the successful candidate will be working in various locations throughout Essex, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. 

You will need to be able to drive and you will have access to a company vehicle if required. 

Duties will include;

• Garden maintenance on show homes 
• Lawn mowing
• Hedge trimming
• General tidying of areas 
• Operating hand tools
• Sit down mower at various locations

Working hours: 8 hours a day including paid 1 hour lunch

You ideally will have previous garden maintenance experience but training can be given. 

As you are mainly working on housing developments you will need to have, or apply for a CSCS card. It is an easy process and can be carried out online.
