Workforce Planning Specialist

Kingswood Group are delighted to be representing our client, a global professional services firm, to recruit a Resourcing and Workforce Planning Specialist on a 6 month contract basis.

This is a newly created analytical role, helping hiring managers and leaders to plan resourcing needs. The main focus of the role will be on contingent workers, including consultants and contractors.

Key duties to include:

  • Create quick and impactful relationships with hiring managers of contingent workers
  • Partner with the business to understand resource requirements
  • Prepare and plan accurate and insightful monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual headcount and budget forecasts
  • Monitor the approval process for new contractor requirements, extensions and rate changes
  • Assess the sourcing strategies against the business demand
  • Identify current and future trends
  • Support the determination assessments for IR35

Experience required:

  • Proven experience of creating and defining a resourcing and workforce planning strategy
  • Advanced knowledge of IR35 and other hiring related legislative and statutory requirements
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Analytical, experience preparing reports and forecasting
  • The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision

Due to the nature of this role, candidates can be based in any UK location as the role is fully home based.
