Recruitment Specialist

Kingswood Group are pleased to be working with a growing professional services firm based in Essex to recruit their first in-house Recruitment Co-ordinator to join them on a permanent, part-time basis. This role will play a key part in setting up and developing Recruitment and HR processes as they continue to grow across all areas of the firm.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will need to be able to work 15 hours across the working week, Monday to Friday. The client is open to how these times are split but they will need a min. of 3 days in the office. This newly created role will offer the opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional to help manage their existing processes but also start to look at ways to improve and develop more effective and efficient processes across HR and Recruitment for the firm.

This is an end to end, in-house recruitment role, there is not a high volume but the vacancies require careful management and co-ordination. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Discussing hiring needs with the firm/hiring managers.
  • Creating job descriptions and person specifications.
  • Advertising the vacancies on job boards and careers page on the company website.
  • Managing the PSL agencies including reviewing and agreeing contracts/rates etc.
  • Screening the CVs of applicants 
  • Setting up interviews with candidates and/or via agencies and the hiring managers
  • Being a single point of contact for hiring managers and agencies/direct applicants
  • Work with the hiring manager to manage the offer process 
  • Create and send out offer letters, contracts of employment to successful candidates
  • Provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates
  • Obtain proof of right to work, reference checks and any other information required before the applicant can start their new role
  • Manage the induction process for new joiners, where possible implement more efficient processes and automation.
  • Co-ordinate the Company’s work experience, internship programs and their apprenticeship process, liaising with their training provider to get them signed up.
