Exams and Data Administrator

Kingswood Group are looking to assist a local School with the recruitment of a Exams and Data Administrator. Working with the office and finance team, this role will ensure the accuracy of student data and support with the administration of all aspects of the exams process.

This role is part-time, 30 hours with 10 weeks of the year (during exam time) working full time. 

Duties will include; 

  • Provide administrative assistance to the Office Manager 
  • Liaise with Heads of Department in collecting exam information and make exam entries for students.
  • Assist the Assistant Head in paperwork for exams, including 11+, GCSE and A level
  • Ensure exam policies are in place and maintained for JCQ inspections. 
  • Prepare and issue statements of entry and exam timetables to candidates.
  • Create rooming and seating plans for exams.
  • Liaise with the Chief Invigilator on all aspects of exam hall administration.
  • Ensure exam halls are set up and ready to use. · 
  • Ensure accurate student data entry on iSAMS. 
  • Operate and maintain appropriate databases and spreadsheets. 
  • Undertake administrative duties relating to student records, including exams data for incoming Year 12. 
  • Administration of student admissions and leavers’ data.

You will demonstrate flexibility in the hours worked to meet the needs of the school, a proactive approach, attention to detail, and be confident to take ownership of a busy workload.

 

Learning and Development Advisor

Kingswood Group are working with a successful, growing firm to recruit an experienced Learning & Development Advisor to join them on a permanent, part-time basis. 

Reporting to the Head of HR and managing an L&D Assistant, the successful candidate will work closely with the business to identify and plan learning programmes and courses, as well as deliver people skills training when required. 

Other key deliverables include but are not limited to:

  • Liaising with key stakeholders in the business to identify the training needs of their respective teams.
  • Source the most appropriate and cost-effective training solutions, build good relations with and manage external training providers.
  • Assist in the design of business focused learning programmes and manage the implementation of learning across all levels of the business.
  • Provide L&D KPI data on a monthly basis to the Head of HR.
  • Monitor and manage the annual L&D budget and provide timely, reliable and relevant management reports.
  • Ensure accurate training records are being maintained across the firm.
  • Manage the employee wellbeing programme; continuously reviewing and looking out for new initiatives.
  • Assisting in the creation of clear succession plans for Trainees and Apprentices along with capturing their future learning requirements.
  • Manage the Performance Management Process within the business in terms of L&D.

You will ideally have undertaken an L&D Advisor or Manager level role in a corporate/professional services environment.  A coaching qualification would be a distinct advantage but not essential. 

Other key skills and experience required include:

  • Proven ability in identifying, planning and running L&D Programmes.
  • Ability to manage a busy and demanding workload, whilst maintaining high attention to detail. 
  • Ability to confidently deliver training to staff on a wide range of people skills areas. 
  • Confident in responding to changing priorities and demands.
  • Ability to line manage and develop others. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter, with a proactive attitude and a high degree of self-management and initiative. 
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with business Managers and Staff alike.
  • Ability and understanding of monitoring and managing performance within a team, including monitoring performance against standards.
