HR Business Partner

Kingswood Group are working with a leading organisation based in Sussex to recruit an HR Business Partner to join them on a fixed term contract basis until August 2025. 

This client offers hybrid/remote working but you must be able to be on site for 50% of the working week.

This is an exciting ER focussed role working collaboratively with the wider HR team, to support and guide on a variety of ER matters.

Duties to include:

  • Building strong and trusted working relationships with the business and key stakeholders 
  • Working closely with managers to support with challenging and sensitive ER issues 
  • Managing and advising on a broad range of ER cases, to include performance, grievance and disciplinary issues 
  • Producing MI in relation to your business area 
  • Supporting with the design and implementation of new policies and procedures
  • Line management of ER Administrator, overseeing workload and day to day supervision 
  • Ad-hoc project work 

Experience required:

  • Proven experience of Employee Relations casework and employment law 
  • Experience working at HR/ER Advisory level or equivalent 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • CIPD qualified

HR Project Manager

Kingswood Group are working with a leading organisation based in Sussex to recruit an experienced HR Project Manager to join them on a contract basis until March 2026. 

The role is to be recruited on a 30 hour week basis with hybrid working.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Project Manager to lead and deliver on large scale HR projects.  Working collaboratively with the wider HR team you will be responsible for key HR projects through all aspects of the project life cycle.  

Key skills, experience and knowledge required include:

  • Demonstrable experience of managing large scale HR projects
  • Hands on HR experience including knowledge of employment law and policy writing and development 
  • Experience implementing new ways of working and relevant processes
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively influence client group in area of expertise, effectively contribute to team working
  • Analytical skills with the ability to generate solutions, interpret data and make effective decisions 
  • CIPD qualification ideally Level 5 or above or equivalent experience

Payroll Assistant

Kingswood Group are delighted to be supporting a large commercial business near the Essex/East London boarder with the recruitment of a Payroll Assistant, on a permanent basis.  

The will report to the Payroll Manager and will have responsibly for weekly payroll duties, across the wider business group. 

Key responsibilities:

  • All aspects of weekly payroll across the business group
  • Auto enrolment for all companies/company pension scheme
  • Maintaining holiday and personal records
  • Maintaining and monitoring company expenses records and payments
  • Ad hoc duties to support the wider team

Required experience:

  • At least 2 years’ experience within payroll from start to finish, i.e. from timesheet through to update and clear of the system
  • Well organised and able to priorities tasks
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines with great attention to detail
  • Confident self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft packages (Excel and Outlook)
  • Experience of working in a team and on own initiative with minimum supervision

Previous experience working at a similar level will be essential.  Due the the nature of the role, please note the position will be largely office based for the entirety.
