Brief overview of your career to date:
I graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2005, with a BA (Hons) in Human Resource Management. I am a Chartered Member of the CIPD and an Associate Member of the Civil Mediation Council. My HR career started in the care industry as a field-based HR Officer. During my career as an in-house HR professional, I have worked across a number of industries including outsourced print and landscaping working as an HR Business Partner and in the Senior Leadership Team. I have worked on a number of projects including TUPE, introducing HRIS, Talent Management and Appraisal systems to name but a few. In 2019 I became an HR Consultant and have since enjoyed working with a number of SME businesses, locally and nationally. As an experienced and knowledgeable HR Generalist, I lead and support on a range of Employee Relations issues. Much of my time is spent supporting businesses with their formal People processes, ensuring that they run smoothly and are completed in accordance with policy and best practice. In 2023, I formalised a number of years of experience in supporting businesses to resolve conflict, by becoming an Associate Member of the Civil Mediation Council.

Specialism(s):
I am passionate about restoring and supporting harmony in the workplace, and therefore have chosen to specialise in Workplace Mediation and Investigation. My aim is to support businesses to investigate grievances or conduct issues fairly and impartially, resolve grievances informally, or better still avoid them all together through mediation.

Interesting fact(s) about you:
I’m a busy Mum of two young boys, so many of my previous hobbies and interests are on hold right now! But on a rare night off, I enjoy nothing more than trying a new restaurant with my husband, or a trip to a vineyard for a spot of wine tasting. In fact, our shared love of wine led us to getting married in vineyard in France. Now my youngest is one, I’m looking forward to getting back into fitness and travel, my previous passions!
