Brief overview of career to date

I entered the world of HR over 7 years ago after completing my A-Levels and not really having a clue as to what I wanted to do. I have since then worked my way up from HR Apprentice to HR Advisor within the same family run company, however I am keen to continue developing and gain experience within a range of different industries.

I enjoy a challenge and will turn my hand to anything that is passed my way. Working with people to achieve desired outcomes is a priority of mine, whilst also delivering a high-quality, professional service. I have experience of offering advice and guidance with a range of situations such as onboarding, probations and employee relations.

I hold a CIPD Level 3 qualification and am currently studying towards my Level 5, along with planning a wedding (which is proving interesting!). 

Specialism

I have a varied range of knowledge within HR and have a strong passion for employee wellbeing to maintain positive relationships between organisations and employees. Teamwork makes the dream work and so I enjoy working as part of a team to help achieve desired outcomes.

Interesting facts about me

I am a sloth lover (have met and fed one!) and enjoy horse riding although I’m a little rusty. I also love ice skating and spending time with friends and family. I try to complete the park run each Saturday although I do make excuses if the weather is too hot, wet or cold (any excuse really!).
