Sarah McKee-Harris / Founder, Director & HR Recruitment Specialist

Location:
I live in Colchester, Essex. Over the last 16 years I’ve worked in both London and Essex specialising in sourcing HR Talent for a wide variety of organisations.

Brief overview of your career to date:
I ‘fell’ into the world of recruitment not long after graduating with a Marketing Management degree back in 2005. HR has always been my area of specialism and something I am very passionate about. Understanding how businesses can benefit from getting the best out of their people through good HR practise is essential in the modern world.

Specialism(s):
My specialism is nice and simple; I take time to listen, understand and question our customers to identify their individual and business needs allowing us to identify the best HR solutions for them.

Interesting fact(s) about you:
I have two crazy cockapoos called Ruby and Maggie who are always causing havoc! I have run the Paris and London Marathons but never want to do another one again!

Gemma Todd / Senior HR Consultant

Location:
Halstead, Essex

Brief overview of your career to date:

I am an experienced and seasoned HR professional with over 25 years’ experience and have held HR roles up to Board level. I have worked in a broad range of sectors including finance, defence engineering, environmental management, professional services, education, manufacturing, adult social care, and hospitality.

 

I am committed to delivering high quality, values-driven, first-class, accessible HR solutions and services. I have a proven track record in managing all aspects of HR but have developed a specific skill set for managing complex employee and industrial relations; process, organisation and system improvements; leadership and management development; training; and HR policy/compliance creation.

 

I am Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, and I hold a Six Sigma Green Belt, a Diploma in HR Management, a CIPD Level 5 qualification in Employment Law and an OCN National Certificate in Mediation. I am also registered member of the British Psychological Society’s Professional Testing Centre, a trained executive coach, a certified management consultant, and a Master NLP practitioner.

Specialism(s)

I specialise in employment law with a specific focus on complex disciplinary investigations. I am also a qualified workplace mediator and I strongly believe mediation is a powerful alternative to grievance mangement. I have a passion for supporting organisations to improve their systems, processes and operations to generate cost efficiencies and more effective practices. I really enjoy designing and delivering training courses and coaching programmes for individuals and teams.

Interesting fact(s) about you

I am a Lay Member for the Employment Appeals Tribunal Service, a Non-Executive Director (HR) and Trustee for a local Academy Schools Trust. I am a keen horse rider, and animal lover – I have two mini donkeys! My other passions include good radio drama, theatre, and live music events….and I make a mean vegetarian chilli.

Debbie Carey / Senior Account Manager (KG Direct Hire)

Location:
Essex

Brief overview of your career to date:
After spending the first 10 years of my career within the service industry, managing restaurants and hotels; I decided to change careers and joined a national recruitment agency.  After 6 years I moved to a smaller agency based in Essex where I was able to partner with clients ensuring a high level of service.

Specialism(s):
I have specialised within HR, Office Support, Marketing, and Accountancy recruitment largely across Essex and London.

Interesting fact(s) about you:
I am an animal lover! Especially dogs and have worked for a number of dog charities over the years. I carry out home checks/follow up reports for people looking to adopt a dog. I have two young children and two rescue dogs and can often be found wandering the countryside with all in tow!

Gail Kyle / Senior HR Consultant (Associate)

Location:
I reside in Billericay, Essex. I have worked and can work in Essex, Kent & London.

Brief overview of your career to date:
Gail is a senior CIPD qualified interim HR professional with extensive HR, OD, Change Management, Acquisition, TUPE and Reward experience.  She has over 25 years’ International HR generalist and employment law experience within a diverse range of business sectors, including: Financial Services; Local Government; Automotive; Retail; managed FM services; Social and Supported Housing; Digital Design and Communication Agencies; Professional Services; Manufacturing; International Development and Professional Membership bodies.

Gail is a seasoned professional; she is driven by providing solutions, is an excellent communicator and able to influence employee engagement to shift cultural and behavioural change to improve business performance. She has extensive experience of business transformation and re-structures, strategic and operational solutions, with union negotiation and employee relations case management.

Specialism(s):
Specialisms includeorganisationdesign, acquisition and restructuring, TUPE, strategy and policy development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management and development, HRIS implementation and Analytics.

Interesting fact(s) about you:
I try and undertake some form of volunteering. Volunteering has included fostering rescue dogs; CIPD sponsored career advice and support; Independence Age. I love visiting new places and am an avid reader, but nothing too serious.

Suzanne Hodson / HR Consultant

Location:
Chelmsford

Brief overview of your career to date:
I’ve got over 20 years generalist HR experience working with managers and employees to achieve optimum solutions.  In this time, I’ve worked with a variety of organisations from a start-up to global corporates in industries including engineering, tech, media and education.

My focus has always been on treating people well and ensuring that the HR function is viewed positively across the businesses I’ve worked in.

I have also worked as a Career Coach helping people to identify ways to navigate the job-hunting process, develop their careers and achieve their goals.

Specialism(s):
My background as a generalist involves me with most areas of HR including recruitment and selection, onboarding new staff, developing policies, performance management and disciplinary matters.

Interesting fact(s) about you:
I have two brilliant sons and a husband who keep me entertained. I have literally walked over burning hot coals as part of a fire walk experience for a local hospice.

Rachel Woodcraft / Finance & Office Administrator

Location:
Bocking, Essex

Brief overview of your career to date:
After flying as cabin crew for 11 years I left to start my own coffee shop, (and a catering and events company). Whilst running my own business I trained in accounts and bookkeeping and have used this skill to work with other small businesses, keeping their books and helping them to streamline their back office processes.

Specialism(s)
I am trained in Xero for bookkeeping. I am payroll, pension and VAT trained.

I’m also experienced in Events Management.

Interesting fact(s) about you
I once taught myself the complete DMXis protocol for operating a lighting system to get myself paid to go to Glastonbury festival.

I have a ten year old daughter and play the piano.

Laura Cramphorn / Senior HR Recruitment Consultant (HR)

Location:
Chelmsford, Essex

Brief overview of your career to date:

I began my recruitment career in 2010 and have worked in both agency and in-house environments.

Prior to joining Kingswood Group I worked in-house, managing a recruitment team at an international law firm recruiting talent up to senior/partner level.

My experience working on the client side has been advantageous enabling me to truly understand the complex needs of stakeholders and candidates.

Recruiting within the legal and financial services sectors.

My passion for recruiting HR professionals led me to Kingswood Group.

Interesting fact(s) about you

Outside of work I enjoy skiing holidays, keeping fit by attending boot camp classes and walking the dog!

Kellie Deacon / Business Development Assistant

Brief overview of your career to date:

I have spent most of my career working numerous roles within retail management across the south of the country.

 

I have always been passionate about business and staff development, so decided that after 12 years it was time to leave retail and focus solely on business development.

On a whim I decided to start night school to train to be a florist.

I have two young children who keep me very busy. We enjoy baking together and make a mean lemon cake!
