Sarah McKee-Harris / Founder, Director & HR Recruitment Specialist

Location:
I live in Colchester, Essex. Over the last 16 years I’ve worked in both London and Essex specialising in sourcing HR Talent for a wide variety of organisations.

Brief overview of your career to date:
I ‘fell’ into the world of recruitment not long after graduating with a Marketing Management degree back in 2005. HR has always been my area of specialism and something I am very passionate about. Understanding how businesses can benefit from getting the best out of their people through good HR practise is essential in the modern world.

Specialism(s):
My specialism is nice and simple; I take time to listen, understand and question our customers to identify their individual and business needs allowing us to identify the best HR solutions for them.

Interesting fact(s) about you:
I have two crazy cockapoos called Ruby and Maggie who are always causing havoc! I have run the Paris and London Marathons but never want to do another one again!

Gemma Todd / Senior HR Consultant

Location:
Halstead, Essex

Brief overview of your career to date:

I am an experienced and seasoned HR professional with over 25 years’ experience and have held HR roles up to Board level. I have worked in a broad range of sectors including finance, defence engineering, environmental management, professional services, education, manufacturing, adult social care, and hospitality.

 

I am committed to delivering high quality, values-driven, first-class, accessible HR solutions and services. I have a proven track record in managing all aspects of HR but have developed a specific skill set for managing complex employee and industrial relations; process, organisation and system improvements; leadership and management development; training; and HR policy/compliance creation.

 

I am Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, and I hold a Six Sigma Green Belt, a Diploma in HR Management, a CIPD Level 5 qualification in Employment Law and an OCN National Certificate in Mediation. I am also registered member of the British Psychological Society’s Professional Testing Centre, a trained executive coach, a certified management consultant, and a Master NLP practitioner.

Specialism(s)

I specialise in employment law with a specific focus on complex disciplinary investigations. I am also a qualified workplace mediator and I strongly believe mediation is a powerful alternative to grievance mangement. I have a passion for supporting organisations to improve their systems, processes and operations to generate cost efficiencies and more effective practices. I really enjoy designing and delivering training courses and coaching programmes for individuals and teams.

Interesting fact(s) about you

I am a Lay Member for the Employment Appeals Tribunal Service, a Non-Executive Director (HR) and Trustee for a local Academy Schools Trust. I am a keen horse rider, and animal lover – I have two mini donkeys! My other passions include good radio drama, theatre, and live music events….and I make a mean vegetarian chilli.

Debbie Carey / Senior Office Recruitment Manager

Location:
Essex

Brief overview of your career to date:
After spending the first 10 years of my career within the service industry, managing restaurants and hotels; I decided to change careers and joined a national recruitment agency.  After 6 years I moved to a smaller agency based in Essex where I was able to partner with clients ensuring a high level of service.

Specialism(s):
I have specialised within HR, Office Support, Marketing, and Accountancy recruitment largely across Essex and London.

Interesting fact(s) about you:
I am an animal lover! Especially dogs and have worked for a number of dog charities over the years. I carry out home checks/follow up reports for people looking to adopt a dog. I have two young children and two rescue dogs and can often be found wandering the countryside with all in tow!

Laura Cramphorn / Senior HR Recruitment Consultant

Location:
Chelmsford, Essex

Brief overview of your career to date:

I began my recruitment career in 2010 and have worked in both agency and in-house environments.

Prior to joining Kingswood Group I worked in-house, managing a recruitment team at an international law firm recruiting talent up to senior/partner level.

My experience working on the client side has been advantageous enabling me to truly understand the complex needs of stakeholders and candidates.

Specialism(s)

Recruiting within the legal and financial services sectors.

My passion for recruiting HR professionals led me to Kingswood Group.

Interesting fact(s) about you

Outside of work I enjoy skiing holidays, keeping fit by attending boot camp classes and walking the dog!

Adele Baker / Finance & Operations Manager

Location:
Hockley, Essex

Brief overview of your career to date:

I started working at a chartered accountancy firm before having my children but then set up my own accountancy practice to give me a bit more flexibility and work/life balance. I deal with a range of clients giving me a broad knowledge across the different sectors.

Specialism(s)

I specalised in personal tax specifically the dreaded end of year tax returns although I have clients in hospitality, leisure, property and fashion to name a few so I do not really have a specialism these days.

Interesting fact(s) about you

I am a bit of a adrenaline junkie and love to set myself challenges. This year’s are a skydive and completing my first triathlon. I like all outdoors sports really so will give anything a good go.

Julie Stevens / Marketing Manager

Location:
Witham, Essex

Brief overview of your career to date:
I have been in the design and marketing industry for over 20 years.  After graduating from Middlesex University I started in the fashion industry by designing, making, and branding clothing.  (Including Fred Perry, Arcadia Group, Sportswear and Childrenswear)

I became interested in the digital industry as the internet started to become the focus of marketing which built upon my existing graphic design skills and started creating designs using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Dreamweaver to develop websites for businesses.

Specialism(s)

I have been at the start of social media and seen the growth in using it to promote businesses. I have helped several start-up businesses along with existing businesses wanting to refresh their brand, logo, website, digital, and print marketing.

I have a wide knowledge and skillset to market a business across all media. With my flair for design I love presenting clients with exciting new looks to promote their business.

I am also experienced in Events Management.

Interesting fact(s) about you:

I am married with 2 teenage children which keeps me up to date on the latest uses of technology. I love going for long walks with our dog Reggie, he helps me get my 10,000 steps a day!
